1905 Mushroom Style Knob Baseball Bat by Edward K. Tryon

The offered bat is perhaps the finest example of this bat in existence! Made by the Edward K. Tryon Company, out of Philadelphia, PA, this bat features a bulbous, mushroom-like knob. The bat is not referenced as a mushroom bat, but the bulbous knob was to act in the same way as a mushroom knob, to counterbalance the swing. The center logo features the Edward K Tryon maker information, as well as the model name; SOAKER. Most impressive about this bat, is the amazing NR-MT to MINT condition.
