This unusual offering is a Vintage Baseball Pitchers' Toe Plate in the Original Spalding Packaging. A novel piece of Spalding baseball equipment. It comes in it's original packaging from Spalding, a thick paper envelope is what housed the aluminum toe plate. A baseball pitcher drags his toe during his follow through, wearing away the leather in that spot very quickly. The toe plate is worn on top of the shoe to increase the life of the shoe. A rare piece for the vintage baseball equipment collector! The condition is NR-MT.
