Here we are offering a very Rare 1910’s Buckle-Web Baseman’s Mitt made by Schmeltzer's Sporting Goods out of Kansas City. Antique baseball gloves made by Schmeltzer are few and far between. This high quality baseman's mitt features a perfect Schmeltzer's cloth patch sewn on the center of the back. This mitt also features a very rare Decker Patent Back which is the area of thick leather that protects the tips of the fingers on the glove's reverse. Another scarce feature is the buckle-web design, which more often than not is damaged or gone. This antique baseball glove is gorgeous, a great opportunity to add this beauty to your collection!
