1920's Sam Rice D&M Baseball Glove
The following is an Exceptional 1920’s Vintage Baseball Glove. This glove was made by D&M, the Draper & Maynard Sporting Goods Company out of Plymouth New Hampshire. It was endorsed by Sam Rice, a professional baseball pitcher who began his professional baseball career in 1915 with the Washington Senators. He played for 20 years, every season with the Senators except the last one with the Cleveland Indians in 1934. He was a Hall of Fame pitcher. This fine antique baseball gloves carries his endorsement. The glove has seen very little if any time on the diamond. The D&M cloth patch and button both appear like new and the leather is soft and supple inside and out. A rare and early Hall of Famer in fantastic NR-MT condition.
