This is a 1930’s baseball catcher’s mitt made by Wards Marathon Sporting Goods. The endorsement on the mitt is from Hall of Fame catcher, and Yankee great, Bill Dickey. Bill Dickey played for the New York Yankees his entire baseball career from 1928 to 1946. However, he did not play in the seasons of 1944 and 1945 due to Military Service. The mitt is of high quality, the lather remains supple and the Bill Dickey facsimile signature is very bold, making for a great display! Please call directly with any questions or concerns.
