This is a 1930’s Boxer’s Striking Bag in the Original Box. This vintage striking bag was made by the Marathon Sporting Goods Company, it is their model 5421. The bag was found in the original box, and appeared to have never been used, or maybe only slightly. It has been filled with polyester batting to display its original shape. The antique striking bag is of the highest quality leather, and features a bold marking of the Marathon “shield” logo. It remains in NR-MT condition and is complete with the original box. An outstanding item for your vintage boxing collection.
