This unusual vintage leather football helmet could be a lacrosse helmet, or perhaps it was used for something else. The antique helmet was made by Hutch and is a model H-16. It is exactly like a typical leather football helmet with the exception of a metal faceguard that covers the entire opening. The faceguard has a cloth pad affixed to the inside where your chin would rest. It’s a bit of a mystery helmet and it remains in solid EX-MT condition.
