Offered here is a pair of 1930's Boxing Gloves made by J C Higgins. The J C Higgins brand was an offshoot of the Sears and Roebuck Company that specialized in sporting goods and outdoor apparel. The dark maroon colored leather is soft and supple with off-white trim and detail. The markings are strong, this pair is the model 1425. They are of high quality with supple leather and the original laces remain intact. The overall condition is EX-MT to NR-MT!
