This is a 1932 Al Simmons, Louisville Slugger Baseball Bat. This fine antique baseball bat is an Al Simmons model made by the Louisville Slugger Bat Company - Hillerich & Bradsby. It is a high quality bat with deep and dark markings, including the "bone rubbed" with the bone in hand logo located to the right of the center brand, which dates it to exactly 1932. Al Simmons Hall of Fame career began in 1924 with the Philadelphia A's and lasted for 20 years. Known for his exceptional hitting, Simmons finished his career with over 300 home runs and a lifetime batting average of .334!
