Here we are offering an unusual antique football jersey that was made for and used my the Special Services of the US ARMY. This jersey was made by the GoldSmith Sporting Goods Company in the 1940's. The cloth patch is sewn into the waistline. Along with a size 44 tag and another tag that reads SPECIAL SERVICES - U.S. ARMY. A scarce and desirable vintage football jersey with great history and a great patina, showing signs of good use on the gridiron.
