This vintage baseball mitt was made by the Rawlings Sporting Goods Company out of St. Louis Missouri to be issued to the SPECIAL SERVICES U.S. ARMY troops during World War II. It is marked as a model B 602 X below the Rawlings logo located at the top of the glove and at the bottom it is identified as a professional model with a hinged pad. This antique first baseman’s mitt is of the highest quality and the leather remains soft and supple. Please call directly with any questions or concerns.
