This pennant that was sold during the fight between Muhammad Ali and Jeanne Pierre Coopman on February 20, 1976. This was Ali's first fight after the Thrilla in Manilla. The fight took place in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on 20 February 1976 at Roberto Clemente Coliseum. Coopman was not considered a tough opponent for Ali, who scored a knock out in the 5th round. The pennant remains in NR-MT to MINT condition with the original tab that was used to hang the pennant still intact. A great item for any vintage sports memorabilia collection or boxing enthusiast.
