19th Century Lawn Tennis Posts with Net - Wright and Ditson

Here we are offering an extremely rare set of antique tennis posts and the Original Net! This vintage lawn tennis equipment was made by Wright and Ditson. Each of the wooden posts measure 52 inches tall. They were secured to the lawn with a net stretched between them. These fine posts were made by Wright & Ditson and offered in the 1890's. The early W&D logo is stenciled onto each of the lawn tennis posts. Each post is capped with a ball-shaped, decorative finial that was hand turned. These are among the finest pair of vintage tennis posts that we have handled! The condition is near new and they will make for a wonderful addition to any vintage sports collection.
