Offered here is a one-of-a-kind, Vintage 19th Century Presentational Baseball Bat. This exquisite early bat was presented to W. Weigell. This is hand painted in the center of the bat. Also included are small initials M. G. - perhaps the initials of the painter. The most impressive features of the bat are the painted tip and handle. The handle is painted a red/maroon color for the first 10 inches of the handle. The tip is painted that same color on the last 3 inches of the barrel. The bat measures 31 inches in length. While the bat is more than 100 years old it has been beautifully maintained and possesses an ideal patina. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
