Early 1900’s P. GoldSmith & Sons Catcher’s Mitt

Here we have a very rare offering of an Early 1900’s Catcher's Mitt made by P. GoldSmith & Sons Manufacturers out of Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a huge tank of a mitt, with an off-white colored leather face and dark brown, supple leather back. This is an exceptional mitt due to it's rarity, age, style and condition. An additional point of interest is the Adjustable Padding Design. The owner of this antique catcher's mitt was able to unlace the bottom half or third of the mitt (shown in the 3rd image above) to be able to move around the padding, or even to remove or add padding if desired. A gorgeous antique catcher's mitt with beautiful cloth patch from this rare maker. The condition is solid EX-MT!
