This offering is for a Lou Gehrig vintage baseball bat made by the Hillerich and Bradsby Company (Louisville Slugger) during World War II. This vintage baseball bat is an H&B model number 9 with very gorgeous markings. This heavy piece of lumber measures 35 inches long and remains in amazing NR-MT to MINT condition. The surface of the wood on this scarce vintage baseball bat is as smooth as glass, it appears to have never been used! Of course, Lou Gehrig is a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame but he is also a legend of major league baseball. His 17 seasons as a player of professional baseball were all in the American League with the New York Yankees.
