Offered here is a CHAMPION Model Baseball that dates from the early 1900's. This unusual style baseball features an uncommon, unfinished leather, similar to buckskin. The stitching is narrow and very tight. Markings on the ball include "CHAMPION" and below that "No. 11" as the model number. A very unusual and interesting baseball, and great example from the era. The markings are light and the baseball exhibits minimal use and a wonderful patina, EX-MT.
